Nower Wood

Nower Wood

Nestled in amongst over 80 acres of private ancient woodland, Nower Wood is located on the outskirts of Leatherhead, close to Junction 9 of the M25. With three spacious, heated classrooms we are able to accommodate groups of up to 90 people at any time of year. Each room has outdoor access via large glass doors, which seamlessly connect the spaces with the picturesque woodland surroundings. The whole centre is fully accessible and boasts a raised pond and minibeast habitat for wheelchair users.

The predominant habitat at Nower Wood is ancient oak woodland which may date back as far as the Domesday Book.  In addition to the oak woodland and a few scattered Scots pine, the reserve has been managed to create and/or maintain hazel coppice, a small area of chalk grassland, a small heathland glade, butterfly ride and ponds.

There are two car parks for Nower Wood and plenty of indoor space. The reserve is busy during term time, but quieter during the school holidays, however, filming can be considered at all times.
